B-Rad mounting bases – Wolf Tooth – Het super slim bevestigingssysteem voor bidonhouders en dergelijke.

Het B-Rad mounting systeem is slim, licht en onverwoestbaar.

Wolf Tooth heeft een heel erg goed bevestigingssysteem bedacht waarmee je bidonhouders of andere onderdelen aan je fiets kan bevestigen op jouw manier en op haast elke plek. De basis van het systeem zijn B-Rad mounting bases. Deze worden aan de nokjes van de bidonhouders gemonteerd of op voorvorken met drie montagepunten. Naast de mount bases zijn er nog enkele andere vernuftige adapters om de fiets in te richten naar eigen inzicht.

Mounting Bases

Het fundament van het systeem zijn de  B-Rad mounting bases. Er zijn vier versies: 2/3/4 slot bases en de strap base. Zie  hier onder foto’s en specs van de drie versies:

B-RAD 2

• The 2-Slot Base can move bottle or other accessory to an optimal location even on a smaller or dual suspension frame

RAD 3

• The 3 slot base with 4 threaded holes provides additional adjustment and mounting options vs the B-RAD 2. A typical application would be to mount a bottle cage in the forward threaded holes with a B-RAD accessory tucked behind it. This mounts perfectly to triple bottle mounts on frames and forks. The B-RAD 3 includes a zip tie, channels for the zip tie, and a foam pad for secure mounting

B-RAD 4

• The 4 slot base is the longest base with 9 threaded holes for the ultimate flexibility and capacity when bike packing, touring, commuting or just exploring on 2 wheels. It′s long enough to mount 2 small bottles inline or multiple accessories. The B-RAD 4 includes zip ties, channels for the zip ties, and a foam pad for secure mounting

B-RAD Strap Base

Want to carry more water for more miles and more adventure? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Wolf Tooth’s new B-RAD Strap Base is a versatile mount that allows riders to add a bottle cage where there once was none. The silicone-backed hook and loop straps are grippy and can easily be installed or re-positioned as needed. In addition, the Strap Base can function as a mini B-RAD base, offsetting existing bottle cage bosses by up to 22mm (.85 in) to make room for frame bags, piggyback shocks, or other accessories.

B-RAD half bottle adapter / Dogbone adapter

Half Bottle Adapter lets you offset the bottle cage location to make your bottle more accessible, and to fit additional accessories like a pump, tool, tube, etc.

B-RAD double bottle adapter

B-RAD Medium Strap and Accessory Mount

B-RAD Bottle Shift

Bottle Shift is designed to offset a bottle to a more optimal location and make it possible to also mount a pump on frames with large downtubes. It is most commonly used on dual suspension frames where the water bottle is difficult to access because of interference with the top tube or shock. By shifting the bottle slightly off center and tilting it outward, clearance is greatly improved.

• Slots and extra tapped holes in the mount provide 18mm of bottle position adjustment. This allows the bottle to be mounted as low as possible in the frame for improved clearance or moved upward for easier reach
• Designed to be easily flipped to provide either left or right hand bottle access.
• Centerline of the bottle moves 18mm with the combined 10 degree tilt and 9 mm offset. This makes it much easier access to the bottle, even on hardtails or road/gravel bikes. On some full suspension bikes it may not be possible to fit a bottle under the frame shock without this offset
• Offset of pump bracket mounting holes allows mounting mini pumps on most mountain bikes (brackets for many pumps do not clear the frame on mountain bikes)
